Solid State Relay

A Solid State Relay or just SSR relay is an electronic non-contact device that can switch quickly in short time a relatively high loads. SSR relays have many advantages over conventional electromechanical relays (EMR) such as - no sparking when switching the contact elements; no moving parts, which significantly increases its service life, good vibration and shock resistance, silent operation and a high degree of reliability. Solid state relays have many applications and often can be effectively used in equipment or machinery that require high cycling rates and low levels of noise such as medical equipment; professional food equipment; industrial machinery; lighting control; elevators, lifts and many others.
