Its operation is based on the unique patent-pending technology for rotary-type sensors. Extremely lightweight Vectra® rotor (only 0.04 g), radial flow, and special housing design make the rotor a float that hangs in the liquid. In this way the mechanical resistance of the rotor movement is so small that it is practically impossible to measure. This ensures long durability, high accuracy and linearity. The rotor interrupts an infrared beam passing through the liquid through this way the embedded electronics converts the flow rate into an impulse output signal. The special design of the rotor makes it possible to operate at high pressures (up to 250 bar). The building materials used (PVDF, Vectra®, Viton®) have very good resistance to chemicals and temperature (up to 90 ° C).
